So why do your MPL with the Ballito Microlight School? I asked an ex Jhb student this question and his response was ” Living in Jhb, I was lined up for schools in Jhb, but between weather, diaries and the long queues for a lesson in Jhb, it did not happen before I started whilst on holiday in Ballito. This created a plan to fly down for a long week-end or two a month and to fly all week-end. What a fantastic plan it turned out to be. My most memorable training experience must be my cross country – a 7 hour return flight from the Wild Coast under the watchful eye of Dave Jackson.”

After the tragic loss of his 3hr old Savage in the Cato Ridge hangar fire Donald Hicks is back in a Foxbat. This is no ordinary “Foxy Lady” for a totally smitten Donald has called her “VALENTINE”.
