Foxbat by Dreamwings

FoxbatThe name “DreamWings” says it all.

There are those of us in the world who live to fly, there are those who dream of flying and there are those who will forever remain earth-trapped. From packing parachutes at Pietermaritzburg Parachute Club when I was growing up, I did the natural progression many pilots do, and flew model aeroplanes. Then at varsity, an affordable form of flying saw me gliding on every weekend and holiday, up to competition level. This eventually led me to power flying. I completed my PPL at Natal Flight Centre, wrote Comm Exams and did most of the training part-time until work constraints and finances put a stop to that. But you can’t keep an aviator out of the air. So in an effort to find affordable flying, I looked around for a kit to build. I decided on a Bushbaby and, after 5 years building, ZU-CJD took to the skies and flew like a dream.
