The Air Park at 43rd Air School in Port Alfred

The Air Park at 43rd Air School in Port Alfred is taking shape! and the hangars are going up! Some are complete and more are underway.

They each have 3 x 5m doors which ‘glide’ without any effort – due to the large wheels and square steel runners – the wheels do not touch the concrete floor but run on the steel runners.

iMfolozi Game Reserve

The Bateleurs / iMfolozi Game Reserve Mission

We arrived at the airstrip. It suddenly dawned on us. We will be spending the entire day on the strip, in the middle of the park without any protection. “What about Lion” asked a somewhat nervous Lorraine? Brenda nodded in agreement. Upon opening my email, during August 2007, I found the following: Are any Bateleur members interested in a mission to fly the perimeter of the Imfolozi Game Reserve? The mail became even more tantalizing.
